of my appointment at the endodontist office for the root canal.
Whatever he does oughta help somehow…
I’ve been down this path before,
but I still worry about the medicines and finances
the pain, well, it can go away any time
Thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers….

Just get better, hon. Don’t worry about that other stuff. XXOO
I agree with George. When the pain goes away every thing else will seem trivial.
I understand about the concerns, but the pain is so wearing it will be worth it. Thinking of you.
The endodontist, Dr. Evans is a sweetie, educated, and skilled!
No problems with the procedure. My neck was protesting mightily from being in the same position for 1 hour 20 minutes. Upper left side, Far back corner is the tooth, so getting to it with all the instruments and lighting was tricky.
When I got to sit up, I watched as he typed his medical notes on the computer screen, saying he will send a copy to my regular dentist.
the word Necrotic appeared twice
when I asked if it really was that awful, he said Yeah, the palatal root was badly gone, but he was afraid to dig out any more gunk because he might break an instrument down inside the hole
I’m on prescription Ibuprofen anti-inflammatory for 24 hours, and they will call to check on me tomorrow
As I was checking out, the office gal says the great state of Illinois (my spouse’s employer) is in arrears on paying the bills, but she only took my co-pay due with my plastic card, implying that by the end of the year, matters will be much more ugly.

Slept good through the night, with the help of the pain medicine.
Woke up with a tear running down my cheek onto the pillow. I dunno if caused by tooth problems or a dream.
No TA Sub job for today, so I’m doing fine.
