In a couple weeks, my friend Linda from Yarn Group will be sitting at a booth selling crafts to benefit breast cancer research.

I crocheted a half dozen bookmarks

the white and pinks shaded cotton arrived awhile back, in a care package to me from Mary at Momma’s Corner… a gift which keeps on giving

Gorgeous as always. I think crocheting must be a level of patience I can only aspire to.
Ok, NOW you’ve gone way above your regular! You managed to do the diagonal (Mary’s) stitch…on a bookmark! VERY CLEVER! I like the stitch you used for the two that flank the center bookmark-is it difficult? (she asks, knowing she only knows a few things in crochet…).
You do great work, lady!!!

The pattern for (from left) 2,4,6 is in an old leaflet, so I can copy and paper mail if you want.
None are difficult, just single, double, chain stitches put together in different patterns.
How smart of you to recognize the Diagonal Box stitch pattern on the far left!
They are all beautiful and should bring a bit of money in for the cause. You sure do good work girl!
just beautiful!!! My son uses the one you gave me daily!!! He loves buying new books and reading them. after like the 5th time of asking me to borrow mine, i gave in and just gave it to him to use. At least i know it gets great use!!! and thank you again for a lovely gift!!
