A Batch Done this Morning

Tonight at church is the first of the Family Fun Nights planned for Wednesdays.

We serve supper at 5:15pm, then the family groups move along doing crafts and drama and lessons, using the same plans as Vacation Bible School.

mmmmmmmmmmm those cookies look so good 🙂 It almost looks like you can grab one.

  2. MrsDoF says:

Why, Thank You, Caroline! I’ll take that as a compliment for my photography skills.

The cookies were gobbled up and many praises about the good taste.

Only 3 left in the Home container. Husband will probably take them to work in the morning.

Our mailman is young and handsome, so every chance I get, I go out to meet him for the mail, rather than waiting until I find it in the mailbox.

I gave him a little paper plate with 3 of these cookies on it, as a sort of Thank You gift.
    Still warm they were.

Today, almost a week later, I was out sweeping the dusting of snow off the front walk when he came by.

He reported that he had never before had walnuts and oatmeal in the same cookie, and he wasn’t sure what a currant is, but he really liked them.
Very very good cookie, quite tasty.

I told him they had gone over well at Family Nights, and that Husband carried some to work.

Too bad my weblog readers can only imagine. 😛
