I’m doing the FOUR THINGS meme which can be found over at Decrepit Old Fool, who is already on my blogroll.

Four jobs you’ve had in your life:
Licensed Practical Nurse, Dining Room Supervisor of a 4-star restaurant, stay-at-home-mother, church janitor, Baker for a cafeteria, Daycare Teacher’s Assistant
Oops, that’s more than four.  Oh well, I’m getting old, and yet I have 17 years before I’m allowed to collect Social Security.

Four Movies you could watch over and over:
Roman Holiday starring Gregory Peck,  Nobody’s Fool starring Paul Newman, Sleepless in Seattle starring Tom Hanks, The Big Country starring Gregory Peck
Seems to be a trend for handsome men in the nice guy role

Four places you’ve lived:
Martin’s Ferry, Ohio (first 22 years growing up), Johnson City, Tennessee (trying to do the college/married student housing thing), and Normal, Illinois (recent 22 years)

Four TV shows you love to watch:
Judging Amy (has been cancelled and I don’t have cable), NCIS starring Mark Harmon, , NOVA on PBS, HALLMARK Hall of Fame movies (made for network TV, again, no cable)

Four places you’ve been on vacation:
Disney World in 1972, the New Jersey shore in 1979, Stratford, Ontario in 1991, and the Olympic Peninsula in the state of Washington in 1993.
Otherwise, I go for a weekend Women’s Retreat at a camp in lower Michigan, or back to the hometown to see family

Four websites you visit daily:

Sometimes I get lost with the clicking hither and yonder
 
Four of your favorite foods:
my own Oatmeal ChocoChip Nut cookies, my friend Sue’s homemade Cinnamon Buns, Turkey Artichoke pannini sandwich at Latte Time, Seven Layer Salad at the church potluck, Reuben sandwich at Zorba’s

Four Foods I don’t care for:
Curry (no form whatsoever), marshmallows and cottage cheese and pineapple in green jello, rabbit stew, oysters

Four places you’d rather be:
on the beach at any of the Great Lakes; hiking the mountains of East Tennessee in Autumn; having lunch with girlfriends I haven’t seen in years because the e-mail and Christmas card picture is getting tiresome; working at a job I like alot and getting paid well for it

Four albums you can’t live without: For my Broken Heart by Reba McIntire, Lost Frontier by Peter Buffett, This is the Moment by Donny Osmond, River of Souls by Dan Fogelberg

Four magazines you read:
New Scientist, LIFE which comes in the Friday newspaper, National Geographic, and Chicago Tribune Magazine which comes in the Sunday paper.
Every once in awhile I buy PEOPLE or Crochet World off the rack.

Four cars you’ve owned:
a 1971 AMC Matador station wagon took me away to Tennessee for college in 1978.  It died a week before our wedding.
Cars since then have been in Husband’s name, although I believe our current 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage 4 door was put in my name for insurance purposes.
