Today is the first of a 5 day school break, at least for Subs and students.
Teachers and Staff have Institute Day, many meetings.
I will be at home happily waiting for the dishwasher repairman (supposed to be here before Noon)
catching up the ironing, while listening to Holiday music.
This afternoon, I pick up a turkey at the meat shop, then move along to a grocery store for other items on my list.
Son Lucas usually helps with this, but he won’t be in the state this year.
He and his bride will be with her relatives, less than an hour from their place.
Life’s changes don’t come easy, but I suppose I will adjust eventually.
