A nice e-mail from son Lucas starts the day off mighty fine. He’s happily married, has a couple job interviews, gave me his newest phone number. Things a mom appreciates knowing, even though he lives far away from us.
There was frost on the windshield of the car this morning, but the sun and a light breeze have ensured a lovely Autumn day.
So nice that I walked downtown to the post office to mail a couple small packages,
then had to cross the street to buy a yummy carrot muffin,
be-bop in at the library for an educational dvd to watch sometime during this long weekend,
and then wander through a yard sale on the next street, buying of all things a cute little baby doll to sit on the shelf above my monitor.
It might displace the squirrel or Fiona.
Great day so far.

Seems like you had a nice day. Thank you for coming over to my blog the other day to read my story. Your kind comment was also very much appreciated.
Them yard sales will get you very time. Let us see the new baby when she has found her spot!
I do love your posts! And I especially appreciate your comments! Where is it that you live for you to have frost? In Alabama we’re still wavering between 60′s and 80′s (humid at that). Hope you have a great day!
Our house is in central Illinois, and the mid-West is expecting a long cold winter fershurr…..
