For a “mug shot” you did great–younger than ever!
I have to rub this in… in NY, they just send a new license with the OLD picture! I love it! My picture is from 12 years a go when I was a newlywed 25 year old. I never want to change it! (But, true to NY’s policy of not making anyone happy, they passed some new regulations & I have to have a new picture, but that wuill look great when I’m 60, right?)
I like seeing pictures – it made me delurk!
Actually, Illinois sent a paper I could fill out and return with the fee, but it got lost in a pile of other mail.
I found it the other day when I was getting ready to take the re-cycling box to the town bins.
In order to have the mail done, it would had to go out 4 weeks ago, for the turnaround time to get the sticker back to me.
My husband does that method because he does not like running errands.
So I had to drive out to the DMV office.
The clerk there would not let me just hand over the paper and get a sticker.
I did like the picture on my last license, but this little card is quite fancy.
Probably to discourage fake IDs.
