Beginning of Semester

The start of a new semester.
20,000 state university students have returned to our little town on the prairie.
The traffic is terrible, no one wants to wait another 3 seconds.

A man had just gotten off the bus and was crossing the street.  Witnesses say he had the Walk signal.  He got hit by an SUV turning right.  A 4 inch write-up in the newspaper.

Reading Obituaries online, I see 3 names I know.  One for my former Girl Scout Leader.  I signed the online Guestbook sponsored by the funeral home.  The Interweb is a wondrous invention.

My Math class 11 problems already for homework.  I have to brave the line at the bookstore tomorrow.

Activities for Young Children, there are 7 of us students, the minimum needed for the Instructor to be retained.  We are older, it being an evening class.  Looks like it will be busy, we have 3 outside projects/group activities with little kids.  I’ll have to tell her I cannot return to my old daycare center, so she can fix the schedule for somewhere else.

My guys both are feeling poorly.  Alka-Seltzer cold and flu consumed, then each with an early bedtime.  Most unusual.
I hope the contagious phase just passes by me.

It would seem the cats have been fed because neither one is sitting on my keyboard.  However, the dishwasher needs to be loaded.
