Movie at Home

This evening I watched a rented dvd of HITCH starring Will Smith and Eva Mendes.
He’s a sweetheart, Kevin James is adorable, and the park ranger at Ellis Island does a great job helping with the matchmaking.
There is a wedding reception at the end.

I thought it was a good way to spend a Saturday evening, crochet hook in hand, of course.  The guys passed through the living room every once in awhile, usually making smart aleck remarks.  I guess there weren’t enough things moving at high speeds or blowing up to make it worth their while.

Every once in a while we need a nice movie that appeals to our lighter side. This evening I watched Mona Lisa Smiles, also with crochet hook in hand. I have watched it before so I didn’t have to pay close attention to the details and could concentrate on the baby blanket I am working on. Wayne, too, walked through a couple of times and stopped long enough to let me know that it was not to his liking. Tomorrow it will be race cars for hours and hours. I am glad that we were both able to enjoy our movies. Love Brenda

I am going to rent Hitch. I am blessed with probably the only man on earth who likes “chick flicks” So I think it is time for a little DVD togetherness. Thanks for the recommendation.
